Our History

Life For Uganda first traveled to Uganda in 2010 on an exploratory visit and little did we know then what the next fifteen years would hold. Since that first visit, teams have traveled to Uganda to help build two school complexes in two different village communities in the Kayunga District in Central Uganda. In addition, we’ve supported two borehole projects in both communities.   The current endeavor is in the remote area of Amudat on the eastern Kenya border.

Each of the two villages, Kakiika and Lukonda, in the
Kayunga District has a new school building and a nearby borehole. As seen in the above picture, both villages were holding classes unprotected from the weather.  A school in Amudat is the current endeavor.
